Center Pensées - French Center for Psychotherapy in Berlin
Séfana Laperdrix-Arbane
Course
I hold a degree in clinical psychopathology (Lumière Lyon II University) and in clinical psychology and health psychology, with a specialization in psychotherapy and trauma (University of Lorraine).
I also did a part during my studies in South America, where I was introduced to a more psycho-legal and humanistic school of psychology, particularly as it relates to trauma. Part of this journey is rooted in an analytical approach, and the other I’ve taken a more integrative approach. This provides a rich practice that allows me to adapt to my patients and offer better support.
Practical :
I worked in France with young adults in psychiatric care and with adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in a specialized facility, and then I completed an internship working with children in a specialized residential facility. I then provided teleconsultations while also working with elderly and isolated individuals in Bavaria. Finally, I was able to begin to develop my clinical approach to intercultural issues while volunteering at a school in West Africa. Working in these various sectors has given me the opportunity to engage with a wide range of topics.
In my practice, I place importance on creating a space of freedom, exchange and active listening within a supportive environment where we can build a relationship of trust and thus work as a team.
I’ll work with you in a variety of areas, using different tools to help you overcome certain challenges and improve your daily life. While being mindful of my own abilities and limitations, I hope to support you as best I can throughout this therapeutic process.
