Strengthening our practices and well-being as psychologists

This morning, our entire Berlin and Barcelona team came together for a deep and collaborative discussion, with a common goal: growing together, individually and collectively. Here's a look at some of the highlights:

Supporting our emotional well-being as healthcare professionals

As psychologists, we are sometimes confronted with emotionally intense sessions. The key question: how can we take care of ourselves to remain present and effective for our patients?

Our exchanges were rich:

  • Technical breathing and of full consciousness to release tension.
  • The importance ofanticipate and prepare before certain sessions.
  • Sharing and debriefing with a colleague to lighten the emotional load.

Thanks to Mariana for introducing three concrete breathing techniques that we're already looking forward to integrating into our daily practices.

Values & integrity in our professional practice

We then explored a fundamental question:
What does integrity mean to us as psychologists, and how can we embody it in our daily work?

The topics covered were varied and very interesting:

  • Finding a professional balance Where do we draw the line between professional distance and genuine empathy?
  • The role of the psychologist in different cultural contexts (thanks to our colleagues in Spain and Germany for their valuable insights).
  • The place of self-disclosure in therapy When, why and how do we reveal ourselves? A stimulating debate that encourages us to better define our common practices.

Why is all this important?

Because growing as a team also means growing as professionals. These moments of reflection and exchange strengthen not only our cohesion, but also our ability to offer quality support to our patients.

Your well-being is our priority, and that includes that of our employees.
