Center Pensées - French Center for Psychotherapy in Berlin
Camille LE SANT – Psychologist
Originally from Brest, France, I grew up facing the Atlantic Ocean, lulled by its iodized air and sea spray. The call to travel resonated with me from an early age. Coming from a military family, movement, expatriation and the discovery of new cultures have always been part of my story. As a child, my parents took me to live in New Caledonia. I went on to study in mainland France, before my first expatriation to Sweden and then to Germany, where my grandmother spent part of her childhood before moving to Morocco.
Expatriation requires the mobilization of psychological resources and a great capacity for adaptation: a new language, a new culture, new social and professional references. These upheavals can sometimes rekindle old wounds, generate feelings of isolation or reveal buried vulnerabilities. It's within this dynamic of transformation and resilience that I offer a caring approach to support, based on listening, respect for each person's background and openness to change.
I naturally chose to work with children and families. In France, I have mainly worked in the social sector: prevention, child protection, foster care and crèches. I also worked in the health sector, in particular with people suffering from cystic fibrosis. Abroad, I joined the AEFE in Stockholm, while at the same time practicing hypnosis with French-speaking expatriates. I have worked with children, teenagers and adults, both at home and in institutional settings, on a wide range of issues: trauma, addiction, stress, bereavement, eating disorders, sleep disorders, bedwetting, lack of self-confidence...
Now settled in Berlin, a cosmopolitan and cultural city, I fully combine my desire for expatriation with the practice of my profession. As a psychologist and artist, this capital offers me a space for both personal and professional expression.
I offer two types of support:
– Ericksonian hypnosis therapyfor children (from age 7), adolescents and adults. Hypnosis is a natural state of altered consciousness that mobilizes unconscious resources to promote change. It is particularly effective for anxiety disorders, pain, bereavement, addictions, sleep disorders, eating disorders and self-confidence issues. Sessions are generally spaced one month apart, and it takes an average of four sessions to achieve a goal.
– Psychological supportfor French-speaking expatriates from the age of 4. For children, I use media such as drawing and play to establish a relationship of trust and enable them to express their inner world. I also accompany teenagers and adults in their reflections, personal or professional difficulties, taking into account their history, environment and family dynamics.
Each accompaniment is designed as a safe, human and collaborative space, to help you get through the complexities of life, regain your balance and move at your own pace towards lasting well-being.
