What is Ericksonian hypnosis?
Ericksonian hypnosis is therapeutic only (forget Messmer and other hypnosis shows).
It's a tool that enables your conscious mind to collaborate with your unconscious mind, thanks to a natural hypnotic state that's accessible to everyone.
Each session is unique and tailor-made to support you on your path to change, focusing on a solution rather than a problem.
When is hypnosis used?
Therapeutic hypnosis can be extremely useful in three situations:
- You need to extinguish or calm a fire at a key moment in your life (Burn-out, Bereavement, Separation, Moving house... etc.).
- You want to change a behavior or bring resilience/flexibility to certain ailments (smoking cessation, emotional eating, tinnitus, post-op pain, etc.).
- You want to deal with a past trauma
In my opinion, therapeutic hypnosis as a complement to or following psychotherapy is even more powerful.
Understanding one's patterns and traumas intellectually enables real healing over the long term, but it's sometimes complicated to move from intellectual understanding to emotional integration and concrete action, which is where hypnosis can come in.
Who am I?
I spent the first 7 years of my life in the corporate world. But after 4 years of psychoanalysis (Jungian and Freudian) and a year of relational and systemic psychotherapy with a hypnotic approach, I no longer felt at home in my job and decided to switch to coaching by training at l'Arche Paris (French Ericksonian hypnosis research center and school).
Now an Ericksonian Hypnosis Practitioner since September 2023, I work in French and English, at the center, but also by videoconference.
I work with a variety of issues such as hypersensitivity/hyperempathy, more corporate themes (self-confidence, public speaking, management etc.) and I also work with people who have suffered certain types of trauma.
I also define myself as a feminist, and work with LGBTQIA+ people on a range of personal and family issues.
Always striving to infuse a great deal of empathy, trust and vulnerability into my sessions, I will be delighted to accompany you.
My framework is simple, one session every two weeks at the most, and then it's up to you to decide how many sessions you need.
